Millcreek Township in Union County, Ohio is a beautiful rural township nestled between Dublin, Marysville and Delaware,
in Southern Union County. With attractive homes, friendly neighbors and a rich tradition of farming and agriculture,
our community takes pride in education, sports and our long history.
In 2010, Millcreek Township had 1,305 residents. It is one of the fourteen townships of Union County; and while there are several Mill Creek Townships in Ohio,
there is only one “Millcreek” in the State. The area of Millcreek Township is 21.6 square miles, with frontage on U.S. Route 33 and U.S. Highway 42.

The City of Marysville is beginning preliminary design and field surveying for the survey and construction of a new water main project, which will expand water system capacity and redundancy to support future infrastructure in the Jerome Township area. Survey crews will be working along the proposed project corridor from March through September 2026, with construction planned for 2027–2028.
A public meeting to review the project and answer resident questions will be held at 6:30 PM on February 4, 2026, at Millcreek Township Hall (10420 Watkins Road, Marysville, OH). The Millcreek Township Zoning Commission will hold a public hearing on Thursday, January 22, 2026, at 7:00 pm. The purpose of the public hearing is to review the draft changes to Chapter 8 of the Zoning Resolution — 33 & 42 Innovation Corridor. Immediately following the public hearing, the Zoning Commission will hold its annual 2026 organizational meeting.
